Ellen Suikki is an artist from Espoo studying linguistics and Finnic languages in University of Helsinki. She focuses on documenting the beauty of Finnish nature through the medium of film.

Nordic summer is a continuous source of inspiration – the rough climate provides only a few forgiving and healing months. The summer is short, but filled with magic.

Flora and fauna are a continuous source of inspiration in their art. They often play with the various dreamy effects that light, water and shadows create together.

Suikki describes herself as a modern romanticist – emphasizing nature and strong emotions in their art.
